| Just Some of Their Offerings Glazed- a well done classic, I can only imagine if this were warm. Chocolate- on the denser side and slightly dry, I'd want a glass of milk with this for sure.
Cream Horn- Very flaky out side, fairly sweet frosting inside, slight granulation. Cinnamon Twist- a glazed, with a fair amount of cinnamon. Sour Cream- A little tangier than a plain glazed, but the flavors play together so nicely.
Raspberry Jelly Filled-The raspberry jelly was smooth, not too sweet, tart, or fake tasting( I can't confirm ingredients) and balanced well with its doughy enclosure, both flavor and amount. Powdered- sweet, white, and messy. Just like it should be. Caramel Glazed- The icing was not as sugary sweet as we thought it would be, but it did have a lot of flavor and seemed to keep this donut more moist. Chocolate Long John- The chocolate was good, not milk or dark, just right. Notes: All the donuts from this place were on the denser and heavier side, slightly larger than Krispy Kreme, but not overwhelming (though truth be told I have had one of their famous apple fritters...it is a monster. Super large and heavy, not for the faint of tummy) Sugar Gang Notes: The main response I got from the office gang was "YUM!". The biggest surprise was the raspberry jelly filled one, even the girls who aren't into filled donuts were fighting for a piece of this one. (yes, even I succumbed to its power) Also the caramel glazed got particularly high marks. The cream horn and the sour cream got a shout-out as well. The least impressive seemed to be the plain chocolate.
Overall: This is a place not to be missed by donut lovers. Even donut "tolerators" could find love here. Stay Sweet,
La Confectionista
