The Horseshoe House is a small eatery in the loop that serves the famous "horseshoe sandwich".  An open-faced sandwich with the fries on top and a homemade cheese sauce.  Not healthy, but oh so yummy. They also have a Hookah Lounge downstairs.

Brownie Horseshoe

Price
: $6.99

Size: About a 3x3" square brownie served with "fries".

Description: A simple brownie, topped with funnel cake fries, a scoop of ice cream and chocolate/caramel drizzles.  Served warm.

Notes: The brownie has tiny chunks of walnuts.  The vanilla bean ice cream is cold and creamy.  The funnel cake fries are just like you'd imagine them to be.  Crispy on the outside, soft and doughy on the inside, and they kind of make you think of a french toast stick.

Overall
: This is a very sweet dessert which would be a nice sundae on its own, but the funnel cake fries steal the show and run away with it!

Gooey Butter Cake Horseshoe

Price
: $6.99

Size: About a 2x4" square gooey butter cake with "fries"

Description: A gooey butter cake with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and a generous portion of funnel cake fries. All drizzled with chocolate and caramel.  Served warm.

Notes
: The gooey bitter cake has a firm bottom, and is sweeter than the brownie, but it still seems to be a wonderful counter point to the ice cream and fries.

Overall
:
The flavors blend very well on this very sweet dessert and the light crunch of the funnel cake fries again make them the star of the the show
